1. Chairman or Non executive director to join an exciting new startup which brings a real-time financial dashboard to micro SME's. A working prototype has been launched and they are keen to find a chairman for the board, as they pursue funding and expanding the team. Ideally seeking someone who understands Software as a Service, small business finance and marketing to SME's. Potential for Equity
2. Full time CEO to work in Edinburgh with an existing management team and staff to drive the growth of the company. The company develops specialist software and services for the oil and gas industry (specifically subsurface modelling teams) for accurately estimating risk in decision making, thereby helping engineers make the right choices. The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following attributes:
(1) Track record as CEO/leadership, ideally in tech SME’s and start ups.
(2) Oil industry background/experience/reputation ideally in developing a company for the upstream sector
(3) Contacts in upstream oil and gas, specifically in the subsurface/reservoir engineering community but anywhere upstream will be beneficial.
(4) Software startup experience. Ideally this would be technical software for engineers
Remuneration package would consist of sweat equity though a generous salary would be provided later once the company is suitably profitable or following any future investment rounds should we deem it pertinent.
3. Global 3D Software Company (Designate) – requires PHILANTROPIC management to help the owner of this extremely small company morph from internationally recognised contemporary jeweller into a very successful Entrepreneurial Technologist.
The company have a working, sellable, product targeted at applied artists and makers. The ideal candidate, realising artists are not a sub-species of human kind, will be able to target and help the company expand profitably into this market.
